Luke George Thompson is a professor of theology, history, and philosophy, and an ordained Confessional Lutheran pastor. Christine Marmor Thompson was a youth coordinator for the church Luke served at. Both have ministered in campus ministries for nearly two decades. ResourcefulChurch was created to share the sermon series, bible studies, youth services, and other resources Luke and Christine have created and gathered over the years.

Our studies and series reflect the law and gospel-driven theology of the early Confessional Lutheran reformers. Many of the resources here have original content, written for use in our congregation. So, we’re certain it’s not perfect and can be improved upon. As you’re using these resources, if you find anything that could be improved, especially anything dealing with how doctrine is taught, please let us know in the form below.
